Pre-appointment information

I work in a studio with two other artists. Our shop is appointment only, so sometimes all three of us might be in, or it might just be me. When you come in, I’ll greet you in the lobby and have you fill out a consent form. If you come in early and I’m still tattooing, just have a seat on the couch and we’ll get started as soon as I’m finished 🙂

Once you’re in my station and we’re looking at your design, you can always ask to resize and reposition the stencil. If I don’t think it will heal right/ look good I will be honest with you, and we can discuss our options.

If you’re chatty, I’ll chat with you. If you want to sit in silence, that’s also totally fine. It’s just hard for me to lead a conversation, especially when I’m focusing on tattooing. We usually have music going or a movie/ tv show, but you’re more than welcome to bring in headphones, a book, handheld devices, as long as it’s not too loud and doesn’t cause too much movement.

For longer sessions I recommend bringing a snack or a lunch, we can also always order something and just take a break once food arrives. We do have little candies, sodas, and water available if needed. You can also bring anything else with you that brings you comfort, such as the blanket, pillow, stuffed animal, and or fidget toys.

When getting ready for your appointment

Ideally you’d exfoliate the area that we’ll be tattooing a couple times the week before your appointment, and moisturize daily. Avoid excessive working out of the area so you don’t come in sore and in pain. Get a good night’s sleep, eat a filling meal, stay hydrated, and come in clean and showered. Wear something loose and comfy that doesn’t restrict the area, you can also bring a change of clothes with you. Keep in mind that the stencil and a bit of ink splatter may get on your clothes, so don’t wear your favorite all white outfit.

Please refrain from bringing your whole friend group or family to the shop. It gets pretty crowded fast, only bring one person if really necessary. They might not be able to sit with you in the tattoo room, but can wait in the lobby.

Payment information

I accept cash, Venmo, and Zelle. I do not accept card payments.

If you have any questions or need further accommodations please let me know with an ample amount of time before your appointment.
